WHY DO WE LIVE ON MISSION DAILY?
Jesus gives us the answer in Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” As Christians we must see ourselves as missionaries and our mission field is wherever we go. Charles Spurgeon stated, “every Christian is either a missionary or an impostor”.
WHERE DO WE LIVE ON MISSION DAILY?
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and
you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth”.
We desire to be an Acts 1:8 Focused church. This means we want to encourage and equip our member to live on mission locally, regionally, and globally.
HOW DO WE LIVE ON MISSION?
We are a church dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission by living on mission daily both personally and corporately. Personally, we want all of our members to be equipped and confident to live on missions where they live, work and play.
Corporately, we want to equip and provide opportunities for our members to live on mission together locally and globally.
PERSONALLY
New Hope Church has a desire and commitment to equip our members to live on mission where they live, work and play by providing ongoing training in personal evangelism and mission action.
CORPORATELY
LOCAL
New Hope desires to serve our community together. Our Food Ministry engages in feeding the hungry of our community. We look to support and partner with local community agencies and ministries as gospel promoting opportunities. New Hope members are encouraged to serve regularly with our local partners personally as witnesses to the love of Christ throughout our community.
GLOBAL
New Hope Church is passionate about partnering with Church planters and international missionaries all over North America and also all over the world. New Hope is positioning to provide our members the opportunity to live on mission by going on short-term trips to serve our new national and international missionaries as they plant churches all over the world.
